Update and Add Members

Add a member

On the bottom right of the screen there is a blue floating action button with a plus. Clicking this button will bring up an empty member form

Update a Member

Clicking on a member will bring up a Member Form with their information populated on it.

ID number

The faded ID number is used for troubleshooting. This is the identification of this particular member in the database. The id is generated at random for each member. It's the key in the KV Database

Member Form

  • First Name
  • Last Name - Could be used for a company name or group with First Name blank
  • Upload Image - opens a modal to attach an image
  • Vimeo Link - enter the video link as formatted in the placeholder
  • Induction Year - How NYSBA Kiosk App handles induction years
  • New Yorker Year - New Yorker of the year
  • Broadcaster Year - Broadcaster of the year
  • Biography
  • Delete

Saving Changes

After a change is complete and added to the member form, you can click the confirm button or the blurry area behind the form to dismiss it. At this point changes will be added to the Changes tab.

On the Nav Bar

Reset & Undo Changes

The Nav Bar menu provides two options for resetting data:

Undo All ChangesClears all admin changes, reloads from browser cache
Hard ResetClears all admin changes, replaces cache with server data

Undo All Changes

If you made a mistake and want to undo all changes, click the menu button and select "Undo All Changes".

Hard Reset

If something seems off or out of sync, you can perform a hard reset. This action clears all local cache and pulls the latest information from the kiosk server.

Edit with Kiosk Preview

Toggle the Kiosk Preview to see your updates in real-time. Once satisfied, confirm and click "Send to Kiosk". If this is a new change, "Send to Kiosk" won't appear until you click "confirm".
